Proposal of greening plants selection aiming at biodiversity protection
In order to deal with the problems of plant invasion, habitat diversity decrease and hybridization penetration, induced probably by plant introduction in greening works, Japanese Society of Revegetation Technology has set up a plant problem committee, and held workshops on countermeasure. And according to the comments or suggestion, the paper is abstracted to discuss the plant species selection suitable to revegetation aiming at the protection of biological diversity,and a proposal is putting forward based on the comprehensive consideration from the seedling supply system up to planning, design, and construction stages of greening work.

The fundamental reflection on natural nearly revegetation of slopes
Under the background of gradual deterioration of ecological environment, increasing awareness of environmental protection, and more and more serious invasion of harmful plants and on the basis of the systematical summarization of experience and lessons of the slope revegetation in Japan, researchers of slope revegetation research board of Japan Society of Revegetation elaborated on problems existing in revegetation and gave systematic and comprehensive countermeasures related to many aspects including the background,definition, terminology, goal, process, design, construction, management of natural nearly revegetation of slopes. This paper is one of the theoretical papers with epochal meaning in the filed of revegetation in Japan and will have great influence on theory and technology development of revegetation in the future.

Present two kinds of techniques which are the natural revegetation technique and environmental remediation revegetation technique to improve the ecological environment and promote human' s transition from material civilization to spiritual civilization .

Review of the methods for the effect of root system on soil reinforcement
Root system played a key role in soil and water conservation. Therefore, it has aroused attention of the domestic and overseas experts and scholars. In recent years, a number of new research methods have emerged in studying the effect of the root system on soil reinforcement and the purpose of this paper is to extensively collect and study the methods adopted so far. These methods enable us to evaluate the effect of root system on soil reinforcement, providing the basis for selecting plants from the perspective of root system enforced soil. In light of the mechanism of soil and root system,the quantitative distribution of root system,the mechanical strength of root system, the shear experiment of root-soil compounds and the quantitative expression of the reinforcement effect,the paper sums up the methods of studying root system enforced soil.The summary helps outline a general application of the research system for the effect of the root system on soil reinforcement. Meanwhile,it also provides an important reference for the future research in this field.

Soil seed bank and its application to ecological restoration for destroyed surface by engineering
Soil seed bank indicates the total amount of survived seeds in the upper strata of withering junk onto the soil and in the soil. The period of soil seed bank is one of the life history stages of plant population,which are called subpopulation stages. The paper elaborates on the characteristics and research methods of soil seed bank, together with the research progress on soil seed bank at home and abroad. Meanwhile,the paper also discusses the role that the soil seed bank plays in the vegetation restoration,and analyzes the applications of soil seed bank to ecological restoration of destroyed surface by engineering.

Review on the technology for the rco-protection of the rocky slopes in Shenzhen
Taking the practices of ecological protection of rocky slopes in Shenzhen city as an example, this paper puts forth the classifying method of different slopes,and proposes types of slope ecological protection and the ecological synthetic protection technology based on the comparison between and analysis on the new and traditional slope revegetation technologies, exploring a complete set of technologies in the field of the slope ecoprotection and landscaping effect. The request for plant species of slope eco-protection is touched upon and the common plant species for slope revegetation are listed. The plants of soil and water conservation should be the pioneer species. And the conception of synthetic slope protection is put forward.

Problems and proposals of vegetation restoration techniques in rocky slopes
This paper analyses the vegetation restoration problems in rocky slopes, such as brittle ecological effect, difficult maintenance, high construction cost, and non-permanence of the revegetation effect. Based on soil properties, degree of revegetation difficulty and restoration target, the paper divides rocky slopes into two kinds : one is the hard rocky slope, the other the rotten rocky slope,emphasizing that the revegetation in the rocky slopes should follow the principles of stabilization of the slope and the vegetation succession. It mainly discusses the greening method by using lianas in hard slopes, and proposes that basic research and new techniques should be applied to the rotten rocky slope on the premise that the current techniques have been mature in this field.

A tentative discussion on applying seeding spray technique in the ecological restoration of vegetation for wound slopes
Hydraulic seeding spray technologies introduced from USA, Europe, Japan and Australia release,to some degree, the mismatch between the ecological restoration of wound slope vegetation and mechanized construction speed. However, problems have arisen during their application. This paper explains key factors of hydraulic seeding spray technologies and briefly discusses the soil problems related to wound slope vegetation ecological restoration. Through analyzing the soil matrix and the technical features of hydraulic seeding spray,the author finds out the reasons leading to non-ideal performance of hydraulic seeding spray projects. Finally,the paper concludes with a suggestion that the soil restoration is the first step of the vegetation ecological restoration.

Ecological environmental problems and ecological restoration planning of the mountainous roads
The construction and operation of roads would produce some effects at varying degrees on the road eco-environment in mountainous area. Based on the analysis on the influences of the road construction and operation on the road eco-environment,the paper has worked out an eco-environmental restoration principle and planning approach in combination with the real situation of the Mentougou District. The paper also has introduced different technical measures adopted in the maintenance work of the roadside slopes in the mountainous area.

Physiological basis for the selection of the plant species in slope revegetation
Tlie paper of the plant species selection in slope revegetation is discussed from the perspective of plant physiology in this paper. The problems which need to be solved from the angle of plant physiological research are pointed out, such as the selection of plant species and plant species suitability, tolerance, root characteristics, reproduction characteristics, the conservation and management. The author holds that plant physiology should be combined with greening engineering in slope revegetation and do the relevant research on plant growth,water relation, mineral nutrition, mutual relations and other relative areas. The results are expected to provide scientific and theoretical basis for side-slope revegetation.

Research on the road environmental evaluation index system
The paper analyzes ecological environmental influences of the construction and the operation on the road, and initially establishes the road environmental evaluation index system. By using the expert marking method and the AHP to carry on the analysis, screening, and optimization of the index, the road environmental evaluation index system is finally formed, which includs 2 broad headings ( natural environmental target and social environmental target) , and 17 single sub-targets. The road environmental evaluation index model is constructed by adopting the expert marking method,the AHP and the fuzzy comprehensive judgment. Applied to the empirical study on the road ecological environment in Mentougou District, this model carries out the holistic evaluation on the synthetic appraisal of the general road environmental conditions in Mentougou District. The results show that the index and the method can reflect the environment. The paper has carried on the theory and applied research to the environmental evaluation index system of road,and the method and conclusion may provide the reference for the road ecological environmental appraisal.

Spatiotemporal pattern of road fugitive dust emission in Beijing suburbs
Through the field investigation and analyses of the distribution of different types of roads, traffic volume and the composition of vehicles in Beijing, the average weight of vehicles on different types of roads,traffic volume and the composition of vehicles are figured out in the paper. By sampling and analyzing silt loading on different types of roads, the average silt loading volume is worked out. Based on the AP-42 emission factor model, particles’(TSP、PM10、PM2 5 ) emission factors of every road are all made out. Taking into account road distribution in different districts and mileages of vehicles, the paper finally sets up road fugitive dust emission inventory.

An experimental study on moisture parameters of the carrying soil of the bio-slope engineering
To provide a theoretical reference for carrying soil of bio-slope engineering,the organic material's and absorbent agent ’s effects on carrying soil ’s moisture constants and permeability coefficient should be studied.Sandy soil,organic material and absorbent agent were selected to carrying on proportional experiments.The research result shows that carrying soil ’s moisture constants increase with the increment of organic material content,and its permeability coefficient markedly increase with organic material content exceeding 20%.Increment of absorbent agent contributes to increase carrying soil's saturated water capacity,field water capacity and effective water capacity.Furthermore,it can decrease carrying soil ’s wilted water capacity.That is of great advantage to reserve much effective water for plants ’growing and their survival in dry seasons.

Study on vegetation restoration effect on rocky slope of the expressways in eastern Jilin Province
Based on expressway construction engineering and theory of vegetation restoration and reconstruction,this paper discusses the restoration effects of vegetation protection engineering of rocky slopes in Jilin Province.The results show that :1)In the process of vegetation restoration on rocky slopes,the model of native species combined with exotic selection species should be taken as species configuration pattern.And we should take the pattern of herb and arbor (shrub)as the ultimate community;2)On the initial stage of vegetation restoration project,diversity of plant communities changes apparently.The invasion of local pioneer species indicates the artificial slopes have been integrating into the local environment as a whole ;3)We should choose the drought tolerance plant species,shade tolerance plant species and fast-initial-growth-rate plant species first;4)Nursery block technique is suitable for arbor (shrub)transplantation in vegetation restoration on rocky slopes,it is a new transplantation model of great potentiality.

Biomechanical character of the herbaceous plant roots for slope stabilization
Eight herbaceous plants were chosen for the study of soil-reinforcement experiments.The maximum strength of herb roots and the corresponding root diameters were measured.Then the tensile strength was calculated on the basis of the measurement,which was used as a criterion for comparison of various roots for soil-reinforcement.The results indicate that the average tensile strength of Pennisetum alopecuroides (Linn.)Spreng is the greatest,26.46MPa,followed by Cornilla varia L,25.03MPa,Trfolium Reports L,22.01MPa,Buchloe dacyloides Engelm,20.93MPa,Fes-tuca arundinacea Schreb,15.84MPa,Medicago sativa ,15.82MPa,Cynodon dactylom (L).Pers,14.54MPa,and Setaria viridis,11.99MPa.

Site type classifications and revegetation patterns of rocky road-side slopes:A case study on road-side slopes near altipiano Bashang in northern Hebei Province
Based on the study on the site factors of bare road-side slopes investigated near altiplano Bashang in northern Hebei Province, the paper classified the site types by the methods of cluster analysis and leading factor exploration by SPSS. The rocky slopes are classified into six types according to the slope features and applications of revegetation measures and the corresponding ecological revegetation technique is put forward for each type of the slope, and will provide beneficial reference for the practical work.

Through laboratory tests,differences of two kinds of water-retaining agents on water retention with different levels and different characters and the effect on emergence rate and growing height of Lolium perenne L.are compared and analyzed.And water retention,emergence rate and plants growth situation of two kinds of water-retaining agents were also measured and analyzed.Results show that the best dosage of ESPECK-L water-retaining agent in the soil and sandy soil is60-90g/m

;the best dosage of MP3005KM water-retaining agent in the soil and sandy soil is 90g/m
2
.In these dosages,water-retaining agent can accelerate the emergence and growth of plants,and can play a beneficial role in water retention.

Dynamic changes of soil nutrition of different ages in terms of planting material spraying (PMS)vegetation restoration technique
Plant growing Medium Spraying technique (PMS engineering technique)is one of vegetation restoration technologies on the rocky slopes,while PGM is a hard-to-solve core technique.Through the systematic study on dynamic changing rule of PGM in the PMS engineering project,the paper aims to perfect PMS technique,PGM confect and production theory,and to offer scientific guidance and reference to PMS engineering technology.The analytical results of PGM dynamic changing rule show that :PGM chemical constituents regularly change with construction period,and initially it always drops down rapidly,and then the drop degree tends to gentle or even increase in the later stage,and the general content can meet growth needs of plants.Therefore,it can be divided into three periods :medium-spraying technique period,soil material transition period and soil developing period.Meanwhile,it takes PGM content in plant's second growing year as the appraisal index for PMS engineering technique.

)orthogonal experiment method was selected,and then 9spray substrate materials were obtained.The Festuce arundinacea was planted in every substrate material.Emergence rate and total biomass were compared.Through range analysis and variance analysis,we got the best spray substrate ratio:the mass ratio of chicken manure and (peat soil +soil +straw)was 1:157,the volume ratio of peat soil,soil and straw was 7:10:3,and the percentage of quality of super absorbent polymer and fast released fertilizer was \%c.The super absorbent polymer and (soil +peat soil +straw)had significant impact on every indicator under observation.Finally,studying the properties of super absorbent polymer,we got the findings that super absorbent polymer could effectively inhibit water evaporation in the substrate material in the early age of plant growth.

Application of analytical hierarchy process method to comprehensive evaluation in ecological restoration of abandoned quarry
The fundamental theory and method for comprehensive assessment of ecological restoration of abandoned quarry, using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP), was introduced in this paper.Comprehensive assessment index system in ecological restoration comprehensive assessment of abandoned quarry is set up and the weight of each index is calculated by AHP. The results show that among the 21 indexes of the system, 5 indexes with the largest weights were ranked as follows: species diversity, community structure,water and soil conservation, vegetation coverage, ornamental value. This viewpoint indicates that the primary factor of assessing ecological restoration of abandoned quarry is of ecological benefit. Meanwhile, the result also shows that AHP is an advantageous method over ordinary qualitative analysis for the assessment of ecological restoration of abandoned quarry,and is also conducive to draw the conclusions in line with the actual situation, and to provide scientific foundation for demonstrating the feasibility of the project.

Design of ecotype noise barriers of Hehuaifu Expressway
Protected objectives, location, height, length, structure and landscaping were designed in accordance with the conditions of Hehuaifu Expressway, based on acoustics principles on noise barriers. The test with the indices shows that the noise barriers have achieved satisfying noise-decreasing, ecological and social effects.

Eco-restoration of the strength eroded slopes of strong-weathered granite along the highways :A case study with Baolong Highway in Yunnan Province
We have drawn three conclusions through three-year experiment with the ecological restoration of the strength eroded slopes of strong-weathered granite along Baolong Highway in Yunnan Province: firstly, the slope vegetation is in the process of progressive succession towards broadleaved mixed forest with constructive species of Alnus nepalensis ; secondly, the construction technologies of thin substrate and geocell are suitable for ecological restoration on strength eroded slopes of strong-weathered granite ; thirdly Alnus nepalensis,Lndigofera amblyantha,Eragrostis pilosa,Setaria viridis are suitable species for ecological restoration on strength eroded slope of strong-weathered granite along Baolong Highway.

Application of planting material spraying technique to the ecological protection engineering at the abandoned quarry
Planting Material Spraying (PMS)technique is a new technique in slope vegetation protection,with good performance and popularization value.Combined with examples of PMS technique application,the paper elaborates on its characteristics,advantages and construction technique.Through over two years,observation,it was very successful in the application of rocky slopes on Section A of Mountain Xuelang in Wuxi City.It realized the aims of rapidly restoring ecological environment of slopes and had ideal effects on greening landscape,and was finally highly evaluated by specialists.The practice proves that PMS solves the longstanding problems with protecting the ecological balance of the abandoned quarry and is worthy of active popularization and application.

Application of engineering revegetation technology in ecological rehabilitation of the roadside slope
The roadside slope is part of the road system. Roadside slope management and ecological rehabilitation are of importance in road construction. The application of engineering revegetation technology in slope management and the ecological rehabilitation are introduced in this paper. Engineering revegetation technologies applied in embankment slope include geocell ecological technology and framework grass covering.The technologies applied in soil cutting side slope are mainly hydraulic seeding, framework grass covering and 3D vegetation net. The technologies applied in weathered rock area are 3D net scattering, channel covered with net and scattering, geocell covered with net and scattering and concrete and vegetation protection. The technologies applied in weak weathered rock area is mainly mixed scattering and in soil slope is mainly foreign soil scattering. This paper discusses the problems with and the prospects of the application of the engineering revegetation technologies.

Reclamation technology of coal mining waste field
The paper introduces the reclamation technology and its effect in the coal mining waste field of Lingbei Opencast Coal Mine of Hegang Mining Group. The results show that Pinus sylvestris and Larix gmellini are the main species of trees in this region. Soil preparation is the basis of the reclamation technology.Decayed rock powder can be used as the planting soil. The paper concludes a reclamation technology which is feasible,cost-effective and highly efficient to provide relevant reference for other mining fields.
