The archival documents compilation plays the role of recording, preserving and inheriting culture and history. With the advent of the Web 3.0 era and the rapid development of Internet technology, the archival documents compilation needs to break the traditional thinking and change the concept and the way of compilation actively. By introducing the value co-creation theory into the archival documents compilation, this paper constructs a model of the archival documents compilation based on user-dominant logic, and discusses it from five aspects, including overall architecture, specific modules, implementation process, safeguard measures and case analysis. The archival documents compilation from the perspective of value co-creation can help to enhance the users’sense of participation and enthusiasm, thereby creating the results of the archival documents compilation that meet users needs and users expectations. It’s conducive to improving user satisfaction and optimizing the service quality of archives compilation in the digital age.
