Abstract: This review introduces the background of the monograph "Mechanism and Empirical Research on Scientific Data Sharing", and provides a more detailed and objective evaluation of the monograph from the aspects of research content and structure, methods and data , innovations and contributions. The monograph consists of six parts, 13 chapters, and 250 thousand words, with rich content, clear structure, and distinct levels; Multiple research methods are adopted, such as literature review, questionnaire survey, formal con⁃ cept analysis, empirical analysis, system dynamics, and evolutionary game theory, etc.,with reliable data, standardized processes, and scientific conclusions; Empirical exploration from the perspectives of data providers and users is implemented, with unique perspec⁃ tives, sufficient discussion, and outstanding contributions.
