Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】In the digital era, government data, as a new factor of production, plays an increasingly important role in social and economic development. This paper sorts out relevant researches in the field of government data opening, analyzes its hot evolution trend, analyzes hot issues and evolution paths in the field of government data opening, and provides a theoretical analysis framework for subsequent studies on government data opening.【Method/process】From the perspective of hotspot evolution, this paper uses CNKI database and CiteSpace software to make a visual analysis of keywords in the research field of government data opening in China, and sorts out the research hotspots and evolution trends in the field of government data opening in China from 2004 to 2024. 【Result/conclusion】Based on the theoretical logic and practical framework of government data opening, this paper constructs the theo⁃ retical framework of government data opening in China, and analyzes the internal logical relationship of the connotation, mechanism, path and channel of government data opening.【Innovation/limitation】This paper analyzes the evolution trend of the hot topics of gov⁃ ernment data opening, but lacks comparative analysis with relevant foreign studies. It is expected to increase the comprehensiveness of its research conclusions in the future.
