Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】The negative effects brought about by the information cocoon room and other dilemma phenomena
have attracted more and more attention. The information dilemma evaluation index system constructed in this paper can realize the
quantitative research on the information dilemma phenomenon, and provide accurate reference for college students to break through
the information dilemma.【Method/process】From the perspective of user behavior, the factor analysis method and CRITIC objective
weighting method are used to construct an information dilemma evaluation index system, and an empirical analysis is carried out by
taking college students as an example. The evaluation index system consists of three first-level indicators, namely information polariza? tion, group polarization and cognitive polarization, and 14 second-level indicators. [Results/conclusion]The evaluation index system has high reliability. The phenomenon of information dilemma is caused by multi-dimensional factors, and the influence of group com? munication is relatively significant. Undergraduates are more likely to fall into information dilemma than junior college students and graduate students, and freshmen are greatly affected by information technology and group communication, while seniors are greatly af? fected by self-cognition.【Innovation/limitation】Based on the perspective of user behavior, the evaluation index system of information dilemma is constructed, which realizes the quantitative research of information cocoon and other dilemmas, so as to support the rel? evant research of breaking through information dilemmas.
