Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Interdisciplinary input knowledge means that the knowledge of other disciplines (interdisciplinary)
is repeatedly cited by the target discipline and gradually becomes the research content of the target discipline, stimulating knowledge
innovation and growth, and then promoting the development of the discipline. Therefore, identifying interdisciplinary input knowledge
and measuring its influence on the development of the target discipline is beneficial to analyzing the interdisciplinary sources and
forces of disciplinary progress, and to grasping the current situation and trends of disciplinary innovation and development.【Method/
process】Based on the interdisciplinary citation, we construct the influence model of interdisciplinary input knowledge on discipline
development from the three aspects: research heat, research breadth, and research depth to measure the degree of influence. Empirical research on the data of six journals with a high degree of interdisciplinary in LIS as the research object.【Result/conclusion】We found that the identification results can be divided into three types: rising, volatility, and declining according to the influence trend analysis method.【Innovation/limitation】This paper constructs the influence model of interdisciplinary input knowledge on discipline develop? ment and verifies its validity. we will further identify interdisciplinary knowledge growth points.
