Abstract：Based on TM images in 1987,1997 and 2007,applied land use dynamic degree model and the land use general dynamic degrees to promulgate the land use spatial-temporal change characteristic comprehensively in the research area during 20 years.The result indicated that: from the time,land use changes significantly during 20 years,forest land and construction land increase,others decrease.From the space,each type of land use change has a dramatic spatial distribution.Factors which driving cultivated land change are total economic growth,social development and agricultural development.which is helpful for the land planning in Mengyin county and can provide reference for ecological environment protection.
