Abstract：It is important to follow the sustainable development strategy and circular economy on the small watershed management.This paper presents a method to manage comprehensively the small watershed with a beautiful landscape and high productivity.Eight circular economic models were introduced to develop the eco-nomy,save the resources,and protect the environment of the small watersheds in the Loess Plateau.The effects of the integrated management of the small watersheds were evaluated with an evaluation index system in this study.Public participation and multi-channel investments,including those from the government,collectives,individuals,and foreign countries were also encouraged to develop the watersheds continually.
