Abstract：To study out and establish rainfall standard of soil erosion aims at distinguishing happening soil erosion rainfall or not, which can reduce workload to compute rainfall erosion force and therefore the possibility and condition of increasing precision of soil erosion forecasting will be provided. Tested materials of three runoff plots of Huayuan river watershed in She county of southern mountainous area in Anhui are taken as samples that inquires into erosion rainfall amount standard which is 13.6mm 14.6mm and 14.7mm in turn. According to that standard, 50% of the number of rainfall can be eliminated and soil erosion volume which failed to choose takes up 3% of total erosion amount.
