Abstract：Based on eco-environmental actuality in Jiangxi province, characteristics of soil erosion and water loss, condition of forest stand, characteristics of precipitation, natural factors of landforms,geology and so on and influences by irrational human activities were analyzed deeply. The results showed that the main sediment resource is granite erosion region, the drive force of sediment yield is provided by concentrated high strength precipitation, sediment concentration condition is created by landforms and topography. The structure of forest stand and age is unreasonable, which can't prevent surface from erosion, and soil erosion and sediment yield were accelerated by unreasonable management. The prevention and control countermeasures aiming at are put forward, which could offer scientific bases to study systematically sediment in river and lake in Jiangxi province.
