Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】The integration of artificial intelligence will promote the library's business innovation in the field of public services, enhance the efficiency of library's public cultural services, and promote service innovation in various fields in the pro⁃cess of building a smart library.【Method/process】Based on SCI, SSCI and Scopus databases, this paper presents the hot topics and hot application scenarios of smart library research, the future research trend of AI in smart library, and the opportunities and challeng⁃es that AI brings to the construction of smart library.【Result/conclusion】From the content of hot topics, the main research interests of scholars are sorted out. According to the technical advantages of AI and the business needs of smart library, this paper sorts out five ap⁃plication scenarios of AI in smart library, and puts forward four future research trends in this field; Finally, combined with the latest de⁃velopment trend of AI technology in the future, this paper analyzes the development opportunities that AI brings to smart libraries, and puts forward the challenges that AI technology faces.【Innovation/limitation】This paper analyzes the landing scene of AI in the con⁃struction of smart library, the future research trend and the opportunities and challenges that libraries may face; However, the sample literature is mainly based on foreign mainstream data sets, and will be further expanded in future research.
