tion of multi-source data, semantic enrichment has become an important method. Understanding the research status of semantic en?
richment can provide theoretical reference and new study perspective for the smart data.【Method/process】From the aspect of techno?logical application and subject areas of semantic enrichment, this paper analyzes the relationship between semantic enrichment and re?lational database, ontology and linked data, while summarizes the research and practice of semantic enrichment in medical health, digi? tal publishing, cultural heritage and other fields.【Result/conclusion】Semantic enrichment refers to clear underlying semantic relation?ships, and build semantic links between different resources to facilitate the integration and sharing of digital resources. Due to the dif? ferences in semantic level, granularity and domain of digital resources, the realization of smart data requires an effective integration framework of semantic enrichment methods.【Innovation/limitation】The innovation of this article is analyzing the new method of trans? forming digital resources into data resources in web of data, but it is only limited to the application of semantic enrichment in somefields. In addition, the research data should be further expanded and enriched to summarize the framework of semantic enrichment.
