Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】From the perspective of multi-institutions, this paper explores the factors influencing the conver‑ gence of paper-related data of researchers in China, so as to provide reference for the promotion of the work of relevant institution. 【Method/process】Personnel from publishing institutions, data repositories, scientific research institutions and funders were selected for expert interviews. The Grounded Theory method was used to initially identify relevant influencing factors, and then questionnaires were issued to scientific researchers. Qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA) was used to analyze the combination path of influencing factors and construct the influencing factor model.【Result/conclusion】The maturity of the convergence process and the completeness of the convergence specification are the basic guarantee factors ; data reuse expectation and convergence value expectation are internal driving factors ; incentive policy is the policy guiding factor. The above factors jointly affect the data collection behavior of researchers. 【Innovation/limitation】Due to the limited number of samples, future research work can further expand the sample range to provide more objective and comprehensive support for related work.
