Abstract:

【Purpose/significance】By systematically reviewing and summarizing the progress of cross-disciplinary journal evaluation

research, we expect to provide a reference for promoting related theoretical research and practice development

.

【Method/process】Fol⁃

lowing the paradigm of systematic literature review, 40 relevant papers were searched and screened from several databases such as

Web of Science and CNKI, and thematic，chronological and comparative analyses were adopted to analyze the literature materials.【Re⁃

sult/conclusion】The research themes in this field can be categorized as interdisciplinary journal identification, evaluation methods and

evaluation applications. Evaluation studies of interdisciplinary journals at home and abroad show different characteristics. Prospects

for future research include: developing evaluation indicators from a more comprehensive perspective and identifying interdisciplinary

journals from a deeper level of journal content; integrating evaluation indicators and focusing on building methods for evaluating the

reputation of interdisciplinary journals; richer evaluation activities will be carried out for various interdisciplinary journals in order to

present a more comprehensive picture of interdisciplinary journal evaluation

【Innovation/limitation】Research related to interdisciplin⁃

ary journal evaluation is still in the early stages of development, and there are fewer empirical studies of interdisciplinary journal iden⁃

tification in particular. As the field of interdisciplinary journal evaluation research continues to develop, future studies should incorpo⁃

rate as much literature as possible and conduct richer comprehensive reviews.
