【Purpose/significance】Digital humanities is a new trend of humanities, exploring digital humanities from the perspective of

social memory reproduction can open up new disciplines for the development of digital humanities and provide guiding spiritual

momentum-filling theoretical depressions, guiding meaning, strengthening ethical reflection, establishing discipline confidence, and

shaping Chinese characteristics.【Method/process】Through the explanation of the relationship between digital humanities and digital memory, it is revealed that digital humanities is a typical pattern of the reproduction of memory in the digital age. This paper probes into the reproduction function of social memory of digital humanism from many aspects, and analyzes the outstanding characteristics of digital humanities as a way of social memory reproduction. It also gives the development prospect of the digital humanities.【Result/conclusion】Digital humanism can be regarded as a model of social memory reproduction in the digital age, which not only has the func⁃tions of social memory storage, performance, imagination and reflection, but also shows its outstanding characteristics, it's a new land⁃scape of social memory reproduction.【Innovation/limitation】It provides a new perspective for the study of digital humanities, and adds a rational discussion on the level of discipline construction.
