Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】To explore the data-driven decision-making process for hospital management from the theoretical level.deepen the application of medical data,broaden the problem domain of information science.,and provide a new growth point for the development of interdisciplinary information science theory.【Method/process】Through the review of relevant research on datadriven decision making,under the guidance of information chain theory under the new technology environment.BASM model and other relevant theories,in-depth analysis of the data-driven decision path,highlighting the decision-making characteristics under the hospi⁃tal management scenario,a data-driven decision-making process model for hospital management was built.Finally,the practice of day surgery management in J Hospital was taken as a case for analysis and verification【. Result/conclusion】The data-driven decision mod⁃el for hospital management.based on the structural basis of driving factors.demand factors and supporting factors.can realize the deci⁃sion support function for hospital management by coordinating the data processing process for hospital management decision and the data-driven decision making process for hospital management【. Innovation/limitation】A data-driven decision-making process model for hospital management was proposed.which fused the data and decision-making process and separated out the supporting factors.
