Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】In order to realize the transformation of university libraries from unification to diversification,from
physical buildings to extensive interconnection,from traditional service to knowledge service,promote the construction and integration
of university libraries' smart space,and optimize the service ecology of university libraries【. Method/process】With the user as the cen? ter,the knowledge service as the goal,and the library space construction as the technical means,on the basis of investigating the current situation of university libraries’smart space construction and its user demand,this paper constructs the overall framework of university libraries' smart space through the construction of three space forms:physical space,virtual space,and support space,putting forward its implementation and promotion strategies【. Result/conclusion】The construction of knowledge service-oriented smart space can effec? tively solve the obstacles of knowledge exchange in university libraries through the integration and interconnection of multiple space, and promote the transformation and upgrading of university libraries’service system【. Innovation/limitation】This paper puts forward the construction scheme of smart space of university library integrating physical space,virtual space and support space.It is necessary to expand the investigation scale of the demand for intelligent space in university libraries。
