Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Conducting multidimensional dynamic analysis on the path of information diffusion in social media can help information subjects better grasp the direction and driving force of information diffusion, thereby helping information users better manage information.【Method/process】Based on the IESR model, this study analyzes the dynamic evolution and effects of three dimensions in the information diffusion path of social media under various factors, including information users, information interaction, and information semantics.【Result/conclusion】The research results are mainly reflected in four aspects: the type of user will continu‑ ously transform during the diffusion process. The diffusion of information on social media mainly relies on user forwarding behavior. The type and location of forwarding users will affect the effectiveness of information diffusion, and the important nodes that exist have a significant impact on information diffusion. Hot topics can help attract continuous user attention, but excessive hot topics can have a negative impact on user emotions. The emotions of users during the process of information diffusion can also affect the diffusion effect, and positive users contribute to information promotion.【Innovation/limitation】This study provides a multidimensional analysis of the dynamic evolution process of information diffusion in social media, offering valuable insights for social media information management. However, the research could be enhanced by incorporating a wider variety of information categories, and further comparative analyses are needed to explore universal patterns.
