Abstract:

【Purpose/significance】Exploring the key influencing factors of the digital divide for the elderly and its action path will help

the elderly and society find effective ways to alleviate or solve the digital divide for the elderly【. Method/process】The influential factor

system of the digital divide for the elderly was constructed by literature survey, the key influential factors of the digital divide for the el⁃

derly were identified by DEMATEL method, and the hierarchical relationship and action path of the influential factors of the digital di⁃

vide for the elderly were further discussed by ISM method【. Result/conclusion】Based on the DEMATEL-ISM model, ten key influenc⁃

ing factors of the digital divide for the elderly were obtained. Among them, the fundamental influencing factors causing the digital di⁃

vide for the elderly are living circumstances, policy support, technological convenience conditions, and technological useful condi⁃

tions. The indirect influencing factors are digital literacy, psychological factors, family support, social concepts, and social support.

The direct influencing factor is the access degree.【Innovation/limitation】Based on the DEMATEL-ISM model, the relationship be⁃

tween the influential factors of the digital divide for the elderly and their effect intensity were further explored. In the future, the num⁃

ber of samples will be expanded to verify the key influencing factors and their action paths of the digital divide for the elderly.
