Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】The implementation and advancement of the National Cultural Digitization Strategy offer strategic direction for the development of digital humanities in China. Investigating the evolutionary trends of digital humanities research within the framework of national policies aids in fostering cultural heritage preservation and enhancing the nation's cultural soft power. 【Method/process】Employing thematic mining analysis and citation analysis, this study identifies the characteristics, thematic hierar⁃ chical clustering, and evolutionary patterns of research papers in the field of digital humanities that cite national strategies and policies related to cultural digitization.【Result/conclusion】The comprehensive deployment of the national cultural digitization strategy—in⁃ cluding digital resource infrastructure construction, interdisciplinary innovation, industry development and integration, public cultural services, and international collaboration—has provided strong support for the flourishing development of DH. DH is expected to play a key role in promoting interdisciplinary integration, enriching research resources and methodologies, driving innovative academic appli⁃ cations, cultivating interdisciplinary research talent, and enhancing the disciplinary discourse power and influence【. Innovation/limita⁃ tion】This study constructs a multidimensional analytical framework to investigate the evolution of DH driven by policy and reveals the interaction mechanism between policy and disciplinary development. However, limitations remain, such as insufficient comparison of regional policy differences and limited timeliness in disciplinary trend forecasting. Future research should focus on assessing policy implementation outcomes and conducting international comparative studies, with the aim of offering more theoretical and practical in⁃ sights to support China's goal of becoming a culturally strong nation.
