Carrying out basic principles of the administrative law through the Archives Law is an important way to embody its administrative functions. The paper deeply analyzes the theory value and the practice significance of basic principles of the administrative law, such as the authority ruled by the law, the principle of administrative openness, responsible administration principle, the administrative benefit principle. Moreover, based on these analyses, it gives specific proposals on revision and improvement of the Archives Law.
