Electronic records authenticity is a key factor affecting the evidential value of electronic records. Digital continuity contributes to guarantee electronic records authenticity in the whole of life cycle. The authors first introduce the current achievements of digital continuity overseas and the basic theory on electronic records authenticity evaluation, followed by analyzing the relationships between these two. Finally, it is suggested to apply digital continuity to protect electronic records authenticity from four aspects:personnel, management,technology and standard.
