摘要：

文章简述了美国企业档案馆的起源与发展历程,介绍了美国电话电报公司、IBM公司、福特汽车公司和陶氏化学公司等4家世界知名企业的档案馆建设情况,总结了美国企业档案馆建设的特点及其对中国企业档案馆的启示：应该在竞争中求生存,通过贡献谋地位;确定多元化、综合性的功能定位;以对内服务为主,对外服务为辅;构建丰富多样、具有特色的馆藏档案资源体系。

Abstract:

The article outlines the origins and development history of American corporate archives, describes the basic information of four world famous corporate archives——AT&T, IBM, Ford Motor and Dow Chemical, and summarizes the characteristics of the development of American corporate archives and enlightenment to Chinese corporate archives: we should survive in competitions, pursuing higher status through contributions; develop the diverse and integrated functions; provide services for internal users, supplemented by services for external users; build a rich, diverse and distinctive archives collection system.
