Digital resources gradually become mainstream social information resources in the big data era. With the comprehensive requirements such as storage of large amount resources, good governance, digital economic development and the digital memory construction, digital preservation becomes an essential mission. As the backbone of the social memory construction, the archives should take on more social responsibilities in the digital preservation as the role of the third trusted party with the stable systematized institution, the expertise of the archival preservation and the modern software and hardware conditions.
