数据库作为信息系统的基石,承载了机构业务活动中产生的各种数据,形成了大量数据库电子文件。这些特殊类型的电子文件因其整体性、内部关联性、对DBMS高度依赖以及内容长期动态变化,使其不能适用于通用的归档和保存方式。本文介绍了有关数据库归档的国内外研究现状,从数据库自身特性出发,描述了通过ODBC集中归档、采用SIARD等格式进行XML封装、基于OAIS进行数据长期保存、利用DVT等可视化工具构成的技术路径,探讨了数据库电子文件归档与长期保存工作。

Abstract:

As the foundation of information system, database carries various data generated by the business activities, forms a large amount of database electronic records. These special type of electronic records can no longer be applied to universal archiving mode because of its entirety, internal relevance, high dependence to DBMS and dynamic contents. This paper introduces the current situation of domestic and foreign research on database archiving and preservation, and from the characteristics of database itself, descripts the technical paths constituted by centralized archiving through ODBC, XML packaging through SIARD and other formats, long-term data preservation based on OAIS and data visualization through DVT, and finally discusses electronic records archiving and long-term preservation.
