In the 21st century, the archives utility have been going into a rapid development stage. Now the major projects such as key file rescue, new archives construction, digitalization program have been overall carried out, and the work of archival preservation technology is facing new chances and challenges. The archives administrations and archival conservators should have a fully realization of the existing problems occurring in the work of archive restoration, acid stripping and new archives restoration, and so seize the opportunities and meet the challenge, actively explore the countermeasures of solving the problems and make an effort to renew the working model of archival preservation technology,to constantly enhance the work of archival preservation technology, escort for the implementation of major projects and guarantee the security of archives in long-term care.
