Based on the perspective of heritage features, this paper analyses the origin and evolution, diversity of archival repair manual paper and the original nature of hand-made paper’s production form and papermaking craft’s imparting, and points out the severe status quo of archival repair manual paper. To further strengthen the quality of archival repair manual paper and retain common human memory, this paper suggests scientific recommendations for the traditional manual papermaking inheritance and preservation.
