Being the most genuine and directly original materials in the studies of Manchu people and history of Qing Dynasty, Manchu documents are of great value. Under the background of a wide range of subjects, the value of Manchu documents is also diversified. From the perspective of ethnic history, the documents are valuable to the research of ethnicity and ethnic history of minority peoples including Manchu; from the perspective of Manchu cultural history, the documents are valuable to the research of Manchu cultural patterns; from the perspective of ethno linguistics, the documents are valuable to the research of connotation of Manchu language; and from the perspective of tourism, the documents are helpful for infusing ethnic originality and enhancing cultural connotation to the Manchu tourism programs.
