The minority ethnic groups created splendid culture and left a large amount of valuable archives heritage in western China. With the accelerating modernization drive, the cultural and ecological environment of minorities’ historical archives which depended on was undergoing great changes. And the problem of archives destructive and lost was become more and more serious. Therefore, directed towards these various negative factors that could influences the existence and the succession of minorities historical archives under the new situation, this article penetrate deeply discusses the practical protecting strategies for historical archives of endangered minorities in western China.
