In this information age, archive institutions must seek new media to get their information spread, and establish archive websites which could become the best foreign exchange platform of archive institutions. From the research of the design, concept, content, functions of data retrieval and interactive and humanistic services of National Archives website of Japan, this article introduces the overall situation of this website, and will draw on the achievements from the aspect of website construction.
