As historical researchers are main users of our archives, understanding their demands for archives information utilization is the main basis for archives to carry out the corresponding archives information services. According to the questionnaires in over more than ten universities, covering the content involving archives utilization demand of those scholars who engage in the study of Modern History of China, we learn the channels and predilections of archives information utilization by those historical researchers, main obstacles when using archives information and expectations to archives information services. Furthermore, this paper points out that our archives should take targeted and effective measures to provide archives information services in accordance with the characteristics of archives information utilization of historical researchers.
