This article mainly systematically comments on the book On Archive Utility and Administration of Archival undertaking, which was written by Feng Zizhi, On the whole, the author considers the book as a colossal work, which reflects the development track of archive utility of New China, and also a superb work, which devotedly records the strong, inflexible and splendid archival career of Mr. Feng. Particularly, there are four characteristics in this book: the first is running at all times and in all lands, and gaining big momentum; the second is running micro and macro, interwoven length and width; the third is inheritance and development, weed through the old to bring forth the new; the fourth is centrals on archives and dabbles in other field.
