Personal information of citizens is often leaked illegally in social activities, which severely threatened personnel, property safety and individual privacy. If personal information leaking can not hold back efficiently, the problem will become major hindrances to personal information protection and development in our country. On the basis of legal definition of personal information, educational qualifications definition of personal information and reveal risk of national archives perspectives, this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions of personal information protection by national archives from following three aspects: definite collection of personal information scope, construct archives information security system and inner control of personal information archives.
