Government information publication is an important symbol of rule-of-law society and democracy and it is also significant for regulating government action, upholding civil rights, promoting democracy building and the harmony of society. It is a realistic choice for the national archives to be the“government information lookup sites”, but they also face with a difficult situation. When the national archives have been incorporated into the Government legal administration framework and the information society network environment, “public service” should be become a national archives new perspective of the role.
