People’s livelihood archives are related with people's well-being. It’s not an academic concept, thus the academic circle pays little attention to this question. However, people’s livelihood archives’ widely development in practice demonstrates its vital practical significance. The work of people’s livelihood archives is still at the start stage, so there are so many problems existing in this field, for example, the conception is not explicit, the location is not clear, the management is not proper, and so on. To regulate this work, we should take the populace demand as the guidance, making its connotation and extension clear; take the existing file resources as the foundation, paying much attention to the excavation and the conformity; take the information technology as the condition, paying much attention to the informatization construction; take the improvements of service as the core, innovating the service method and service mode unceasingly; and take the national policy as the basic point, improving the supporting measures gradually.
