Abstract Soil erosion is the main form of ecological environment deterioration in Sanchuanhe watershed, and it is the key factor restricting economy from developing of the watershed. Based on actuality, cause and harm of soil erosion and water loss in Sanchuanhe watershed, the basic countermeasures of ecological restoration and reconstruction are put forward according to principle of restoration ecology.
