Abstract Based on geographical and socio-economic characteristics of the clean small watershed at Hongqi Reservoir in Dongshan County,the outstanding contradictions between population and resources was analyzed,and the main problems of the ecological environment around Hongqi reservoir was discussed deeply.The ideas of and measure system of the clean small watershed management was put forward.
