Abstract：Based on the eco-environmental and social economic condition of the Yellow river watershed in Inner Mongoli-a, the paper comprehensively analyzed the cause of soil erosion and water loss, desertification, salination, dune activation and other eco-environmental problems in this area, and pointed out that the main reason for the problem mentioned above includes the excessive deforestation, overgrazing of grassland, over reclamation of land and unreasonable use of water resources. On the basis of eco-environmental conservation division, control measures for each region are put forward.
