Abstract:The regional soil erosion situation is evaluated when remote sensing data are applied to interpret vegetation cover. The repository of removing sensing identifying samples for surface vegetation cover rate is set up by combining man-made investigation with remote sensing identification. The repositories of vegetation samples have been established and knowledge have been checked up and updated through using GPS. The universality and precision of samples are advanced. Therefore, the precision and speed of dynamic remote sensing supervision for soil erosion are improved and the technique of vegetation identification for remote sensing image is systematized.
