Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】Digital humanities research has revolutionized the knowledge service model for celebrity archives re⁃ sources. By applying digital humanities technology to the knowledge service of celebrity archives resources, it drives the transforma⁃ tion and innovation of this service model【. Method/process】Using the archives data from Jilin University Archives, School History Mu⁃ seum, Huang Danian Memorial Hall, and Norman Bethune Medical Memorial Hall as case studies, four key elements of multimodal ar⁃ chives resource knowledge service in the perspective of digital humanities are summarized: subjects, objects, technology, and service. Additionally, five major characteristics are identified: data multimodality, spatial virtualization, user demand orientation, resource con⁃ tent knowledgeization, and service deep interaction.【Result/conclusion】Combining relevant elements and characteristics, the study proposes a model of multimodal archives resource knowledge service in the perspective of digital humanities, which includes four lev⁃ els: user demand layer, resource collection layer, technical processing layer, and knowledge service layer. This model promotes the di⁃ versification of functions, deepening of interaction, and knowledgeization of resource content in the knowledge service of celebrity ar⁃ chives, achieving innovative development in this field.【Innovation/limitation】This study focuses only on the celebrity archives re⁃ sources in Jilin University Archives, School History Museum, Huang Danian Memorial Hall, and Norman Bethune Medical Memorial Hall, with the primary service target being university students. Therefore, the proposed service model may not be applicable to all ce⁃ lebrity archives. Future research should expand the scope of the study.
