认知视角下社交媒体用户隐私关注的潜在类别分析

摘要: 【目的/意义】探索社交媒体用户隐私关注的认知差异并识别其潜在类别,帮助社交媒体平台深入了解用户 隐私关注认知水平及潜在类别特征,使其能更好地为用户提供个性化服务和针对性的隐私保护策略。【方法/过程】 结合 IUIPC量表、社会认知理论、计划行为理论构建社交媒体用户隐私关注概念模型,通过问卷收集数据,利用潜 在剖面分析法从认知视角对社交媒体用户隐私关注水平的差异化及潜在类别进行分析。【结果/结论】社交媒体用 户隐私关注的认知水平存在群体差异,结合潜在类别分析可划分为低认知-关心隐私者、中认知-隐私保守主义者、 中认知-隐私漠视者和高认知-隐私实用主义者,在分析时发现中认知水平用户群体存在隐私保守主义者和隐私漠 视者2类两极分化的群体;性别及学历对用户隐私关注的潜在分类产生影响。【创新/局限】从认知视角构建社交媒 体用户隐私关注概念模型并使用潜在剖面分析法对其进行潜在类别划分,探寻群体行为特点。后续研究将引入更 多因素针对某一社交媒体平台用户进行潜在类别的深入分析。

Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】To explore the cognitive differences of privacy concerns of social media users and identify their po⁃ tential categories, help social media platforms deeply understand the cognitive level and potential category characteristics of users´ pri⁃ vacy concerns, and provide guidance for users to provide personalized services and targeted privacy protection strategies【. Methods/pro⁃ cess】Combined with IUIPC scale, social cognitive theory and planned behavior theory, a conceptual model of privacy concerns of so⁃ cial media users was constructed. Data were collected through questionnaires and latent profile analysis was used to analyze the differ⁃ ences and potential categories of privacy concerns of social media users from a cognitive perspective.【Result/conclusion】There are group differences in the cognitive level of privacy concerns of social media users, which can be divided into "low cognition privacy con⁃ cerns", "medium cognition - privacy conservatism", "medium cognition - privacy apathy" and "high cognition - privacy pragmatists" according to latent profile analysis. In the analysis, we found that there are two potential categories of users at medium cognitive level: privacy conservative and privacy indifferent. Gender and education have an impact on the potential classification of users´ privacy con⁃ cerns【. Innovation/limitation】This paper constructs a conceptual model of social media users´ privacy concerns from a cognitive per⁃ spective and uses latent profile analysis to classify them into potential categories to explore the characteristics of group behavior. Fur⁃ ther research will introduce more factors for in-depth analysis of potential categories of users of a certain social media platform.
