Abstract: 【 Purpose/significance】Based on the goal of high quality development of archival data, the paper explores the strategic di⁃ rection of high quality development on archival data, and provides decision support for the construction of archival data resources. 【Method/process】Based on the comparative research method, the paper makes a qualitative analysis on the historical evolution of high quality development on archival data, and analyzes the logical mechanism of archival data resource construction from four aspects: on⁃ tology cognition, self-growth, internal development and external demand.【Result/conclusion】The construction of archival data re⁃ sources should be people-centered, resource-based, governance as the main line, intelligent service as the goal, so as to promote the high quality development of archival data【. Innovation/limitation】This paper is a macroscopic analysis of evolution course and strategic direction on archival data resource construction, but it needs to be further analyzed at the micro level.
