Abstract: 【Purpose/significance】 To construct a robust and valid measurement scale of users' privacy concerns in social Q&A con⁃ text, in order to promote users' knowledge contribution behavior from the perspective of privacy concerns. 【Method/process】 Firstly, based on the research method of grounded theory, the structural dimension of users' privacy concerns in social Q&A context is con⁃ structed, and the initial scale is compiled based on it. Through pre-test questionnaire and formal questionnaire investigation, item analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis were used to test and modify the scale structure, and the formal scale was formed. Using the scale, we explore the influence of users' privacy concerns on their knowledge contribution behavior【. Result/conclusion】 In social Q&A context, the users' privacy concern scale contains 19 items in 5 dimensions, namely personal trait, interpersonal threat, social threat, platform threat and Q&A control, which has high reliability and validity. Us⁃ ers' privacy concerns have both a direct negative impact on their knowledge contribution behavior and an indirect negative impact through the mediating role of risk perception.【 Innovation/limitation】 The coding process using the grounded theory method is inevita⁃ bly influenced by the researcher's subjectivity. The measurement scale still requires empirical research with a larger sample and scope for validation.
