Abstract:Beach area is influenced by typhoon whose rainfall has its particularity. The construction of thermal power station near beach involves series of problems to be solved such as the mountain digging, bottom land surrounding fill, flood protection, traffic and transportation, pipe (channel) arrangement for water supply and drainage, the site choosing of ash and dregs field, constrction section, earth drawing and discarding and migration allotion and so on. Because of the complexity of topography in project area, in fact serious soil erosion is usually caused by some elementary projects in constructional period. Taking the first phase project of Ningde thermal power station as an example, soil erosion characteristics are studied, and some practical control measures are put forward.
