Abstract：Soil erosion caused by exploitation and construction during diversion and irrigation work had certain particularity, and the soil and water conservation of which had special rules too. Based on first phase irrigation work of soil and water conservation program of north trunk canal of Huangshui River, the general situation of work and project area was introduced, the characteristics and harm of soil erosion in construction process were analyzed. Combining with actual situation of work, with the method of classification, control scheme was put forward, which could be used for reference to soil and water conservation program design of similar projects.
