Abstract The paper discusses the utilization of pulverized coal ash linear column(PCALC) in the project of terraced fields construction from sloping land.The use of PCALC can release the pressure of stone-slab shortage,solve the pollution,increase the quality of ridges of terraced fields,decrease the cost of enginerring,etc.,especially reduce the soil and water losses,and beautify the environment.
