Abstract：Based on vast literature,advances on soil seed bank were discussed on the meaning,the present research and the hotpots.We studied the hotpots of soil seed bank on the classification,relationship between seed quality and dormancy,horizontal distribution,and relationship between soil seed bank and above-ground vegetation.At last we pointed out the problems of research methods and contents,such as genetic structure and dispersion of soil seed bank and so on,and also gave some corresponding suggestions.
