Abstract：Experiences from land utilization and planning in towns of the developed countries and the main corresponding measures including policies are introduced.Systems of land utilization in towns of the USA and Britain and the land planning in the USA,Britain,Germany and Japan are also presented.It is hoped to be a reference for the rapid development of town in China.
