Study on vegetation restoration effect on rocky slope of the expressways in eastern Jilin Province

Abstract:Based on expressway construction engineering and theory of vegetation restoration and reconstruction,this paper discusses the restoration effects of vegetation protection engineering of rocky slopes in Jilin Province.The results show that :1)In the process of vegetation restoration on rocky slopes,the model of native species combined with exotic selection species should be taken as species configuration pattern.And we should take the pattern of herb and arbor (shrub)as the ultimate community;2)On the initial stage of vegetation restoration project,diversity of plant communities changes apparently.The invasion of local pioneer species indicates the artificial slopes have been integrating into the local environment as a whole ;3)We should choose the drought tolerance plant species,shade tolerance plant species and fast-initial-growth-rate plant species first;4)Nursery block technique is suitable for arbor (shrub)transplantation in vegetation restoration on rocky slopes,it is a new transplantation model of great potentiality.
