Abstract: Based on the observation of the wind speed of the high Salix sand-barriers on field,in the Taohe town,Yijinhuoluo band in Mu Us desert, and using of Surfer(8.8) for the wind speed flow chart, the effects of wind-breaking were analyzed systematically. The results showed as following: when the wind speed is large than sand leaving speed, the double lines high Salix sand-barriers can bring obvious change of wind speed inside and outside of system. The 2m height wind speed presented in the system of barriers, which is increasing in front of the barriers, and decreasing behind of barriers and is smooth inside of system of barriers, but 0.5m height wind speed trend to smooth and steady;the variation of roughness of earth's surface is smooth in the front of barrier of 2-12H distance, but obvious increase inside of barriers,in 212?H distance behind of barrier cut down 33.3%,which is higher 29 times than field wind speed.
